Bathroom Vanities
I've recently begun the process of doing some home renovations, with a particular emphasis on the bath room. Before I started too much work I did some planning and look at what bathroom furniture would be appropriate, and of course affordable.
I have a moderate sized bathroom so he gave me plenty of scope to choose, and I was particularly interested in getting a nice quality bathroom vanity unit. But which one to choose? There are so many different types of bathroom vanity available that's making a decision wasn't going to be easy. Did I go for a small 24 Bathroom Vanity, or pump for a larger model which would have more storage space, but of course take up more room.
Having done some measuring and taking into consideration what storage requirements we needed, it was a tossup between a 48 Bathroom Vanity and the larger 60 inch model. Both of these have masses of storage drawers and shelves so you can keep all your bath room accessories neat and tidy.
Because my wife always says we need more storage space we ended up going for the large 60 Bathroom Vanity which had three central drawers, cupboard space to either side, and before we shelf along the bottom for storage of wicker baskets with cosmetics in them.
Having fitted and of humanity unit we're really delighted with the looks of it has in the storage and space saving design.

It was only a relatively short time ago that I really became aware of the whole JellyCat Stuffed Animals craze, when my daughter came home from school ranting and raving about this wonderfully soft cuddly toy that a friend had bought in for news day.
I got on the web and did little bit of digging, and I soon found that JelleyCat Stuffed Animals are extremely popular and becoming quite collectible, even though the JellyCat Co which began in London, has only been operating since 1999.
Now I'm not one for stuffed animals, but these things are really cute. There are a wide range of products ranging from the Jellycat Bunglie Bunny to the Jellycat Giraffe. There are dinosaurs too, and the toys come in a range of sizes. They are extremely well designed and manufactured and should last for a very long time if looked after correctly. I decided to start a website to promote these wonderful toys and it has been doing very nicely. Are American Standard Toilets any Good ?
Having recently renovated my property I decided to write this short post about the quality and versatility of American Standard Toilets. I purchased one a couple of months back to fit into my new bathroom and it has been a pleasure to 'sit on' ever since. It's a low flush model with elongated toilet seat and the flush is so quiet that you don't even need to worry about waking anyone if you get caught short at night.
The range of American Standard Toilet Parts and accessories is excellent, whether you have an old or modern toilet. This makes the purchase far less risky as you know that American Standard will not be disappearing anytime soon.

MAke sure you get the right Boat Battery
Having been around but it's for a large part of my life always amazed how many people end up sticking a five year old car battery in the back of the boat, hoping it can have their outboard when they need it. The use of incorrect Boat Battery types in marine vessels is exceptionally common, and I wonder how many times it gets people into trouble. The discharge capabilities of a car battery are hugely different from that of the marina with the cell battery, which are designed to be able to lose in some cases up to 50% of the charge without suffering damage. this is not the case for normal water battery which is designed to be trickle charge via an alternator, and the loss of more than 5% of its charge can result in permanent damage. Not a good type of battery to get you out of trouble on the open sea or on a large expanse of open water.

Why is Mickey Mouse still so Popular?
The continuing drive for Mickey Mouse Toys
, cartoons and DVDs appears to go unabated, it's worth taking a look back to the beginning and see where Mickey actually came from. Many of you will know that Steamboat Willie was one of the earliest Mickey Mouse cartoons, and we should have a brief look at it here.
When released in 1928, and featuring synchronized sound for the first time, it was the first Mickey Mouse cartoon published. Steamboat Willie premiered in that great city of New York. The success was immediate.
Walt Disney and other Iwerks responsible for the writing and directing the film, which was a parody of Buster Keaton movie steamboat Bill Junior. A Disney animator, Wilfred Jackson was responsible for putting the music together. Turkey in the Straw And Steamboat Bill proved to be some of the most popular songs.
There has been much controversy surrounding the copyright of the film, but more recent evidence suggests Steamboat Willie may actually be in the public domain. The film was voted number 13 out of the 50 greatest cartoons of all time, and was selected for preservation in the United States film Registry.
The film has not missed the eye of the censors in the past, and has been subjected to the scissors. Swinging a cat around Mickey's head and using a goose as a set of bagpipes filed to impress the censor.
The Walt Disney treasures DVD also featured the Steamboat Willie movie. The Steamboat Willie film was also included on the DVD title Vintage Mickey, a collection of black-and-white cartoons.
It's hardly surprising that Mickey Mouse now features in video games. Steamboat Willie also provided the basis for the first level of the video game Mickey Mania:The Timeless Adventures of Mickey Mouse. The game was released on the Super Nintendo, Sega CD and Sony PlayStation consoles.
Kingdom Hearts I I, a Disney game, uses a Steamboat Willie inspired world with period characters.
How a 1920s cartoon has spawned such a huge market for Mickey Mouse Toys and games is beyond me. If you go for a quick online search you will be a mayonnaise at the amount of Mickey Mouse related paraphernalia exists.
